The sister to Linus Audu the Nigerian soldier who was killed with his wife while traveling for their traditional marriage has narrated to BBC News how the incident happened and how she’s been feeling after the demise of her dear brother. She said her brother, his fiancee, her father, and her other brother was cut into pieces like an animal and buried in shallow graves.
Her brother was brutally killed with his fiancee while they were traveling for their traditional wedding. They were killed by unknown gunmen in Orlu, Imo state, and the news of their death pained many people including the family of the deceased. The lady said that she saw her brother and his fiancee as they were cut like animals.
She also saw her father and her other brother who also traveled with them, they were all buried in a shallow grave, she disclosed that her other brother’s head wasn’t anywhere to be found, he was beheaded and she only saw singlets on him, she assumed they forcefully unclad him after they were captured.
She cried so much after seeing the people she loves so much lying lifeless in a shallow grave. Their death pained her a lot, her own dear brother, his fiancee, her father, and her other brother were cut into pieces like an animal, it was really painful.
