The Chairman of Executive Group and Board Member, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan has expressed his unflinching belief and confidence in the capacity of the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver positive results which will delight all Nigerians through his Renewed Hope Agenda. He made this known as the Chairman of the occasion at the official launch of the highly publicized book on Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu titled ‘THE ICONIC Bola Ahmed Tinubu: An Inspiration to African Youths’ which held at the Grand Ballroom of the Oriental Hotel, Lagos on Wednesday 12th April 2023.

The 380-page book is authored by two young media gladiators and multi-award winning publisher of Trek Africa Newspaper, Oki Olatunji Samson and Abayomi Oyelami.

It is a mentorship book written as a legacy of knowledge and wellspring of impetus for young Africans to learn on their road to greatness.

Taking cues from the life of Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the book draws from his life of dedication, hard work, perseverance, and resilience, and his results are proofs.

Dr. Ayo Ogunsan who is widely respected for being a champion for positive social change and economic development of youths recalled his first encounter with the Aare Ago of Yorubaland and Jagaban of Borgu, ‘I met him to be precise in 2001 coming out of training with a foreign organization after my NYSC.

I had the role of a marketing officer. During that process, I met THE ICONIC man we are celebrating.

We are not perfect. We have our shortcomings.

Any man that sets his mind to touch lives, to build minds and leave something for the next generation, they are very rare to find.

If you want your mistakes to be unnoticed, be good, be kind.

In the course of that people won’t see your mistakes in fact they will celebrate it. That’s the man, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.’

‘I look at my life at the time when I met him and now for more than 20 years, I have to give kudos to this man. You yourself can affect your generation.’

Dr. Ayo Ogunsan who is also the Patron of the Police-Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Lagos continued: ‘Some of us don’t call him by name, we call him Daddy because he has touched our lives.

All these years he has been winning for people. He is the consultant-general for winning elections. Come May 29, Nigeria has a lot to gain. Nigerians will experience a new moment with a man like him.’

‘He is a leader of leaders, a manager of men, a manager of resources, a talent hunter, a distinguished Nigerian, a fighter, and very passionate.’

‘I believe that this man will help us fix the broken walls in our country. Joy will come to our faces. Altogether we will have a new nation’, he assured.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Ayo Ogunsan had elucidated in THE ICONIC book about the Aare Ago of Yorubaland and Jagaban of Borgu that ‘It’s pretty difficult describing and unraveling all the qualities of a heroic kingmaker, a nation-building strategist, a human capital professional and of course a core family man, all rolled into one. Asiwaju is that man you can’t just be described in few words.’

‘Politically, he is that force that continues to be reckoned with amidst the league of political figures, not just in Nigeria but also Africa and the rest of the world.

He is a builder of men, who is never power-drunk.

Here is a man who has produced great administrators and technocrats who emerged from the Asiwaju School of Political Affairs and Leadership, if I may coin that.’

‘The Lion of Bourdillon is that man who, despite his sterling achievements, has remained humble and unassuming.

In the constraint of space and exactitude for words, I want to say he is loved, cherished and wished a long life in sound health and prosperity’, Ogunsan remarked.
