Two Men Arrested For Killing Police Inspector Who Demanded For His Three Cows : The Scoper Media

Two men who were said to be among five men that killed a Police Inspector who came to their village to demand for his three cows have been arrested by men of the Adamawa State Police Command while three others are currently on the run, the command announced in a statement on Wednesday night.

The state police command disclosed the development on its X handle, saying the two men, Ezekiel Kef, aged 67 years and Stephen Zabadi, aged 44 years, were arrested by operatives of the Anti Homicide unit of the command after carrying out the act.

It was gathered that they conspired with three others and killed Inspector Ibrahim Maizabuwa attached to the Gombe State Police Command.

According to the report, the Inspector met his untimely death when he went to Wamsa Suwa village to demand for his three cows which he gave to Ezekiel Kef to boost his farming activities.

However, on getting to the village, the men were said to have descended on him, killed him and buried his corpse in a shallow grave.

The son of the Inspector was said to have lodged a report at a police station when the family did not see the man and following an intense investigation, the two men were arrested in connection with the killing while the three others had fled from the village.

The command wrote: “The suspects took detectives of Anti Homicide unit of the police command to a shallow grave where the deceased was buried and the corpse was exhumed for autopsy.”

They were said to have given more useful information to the police operatives while a manhunt had been launched for the fleeing collaborators of the gruesome act.
