Unidentified Cross-Dresser Found Dead In Abuja, Police Begin Probe 🎊 The Scoper Media

Detectives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have begun investigation into the mysterious death of a cross-dresser found along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway in Abuja on Thursday.

According to reports, the individual, whose identity remains unknown, was discovered lying motionless in female clothing.

This prompted a distress call to the Command’s Control Room at 7:40am.

Confirming the development, the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, said preliminary investigations revealed no means of identification on the deceased.

According to Adeh, a Superintendent of Police, the body of the deceased, upon discovery, was subsequently taken to Maitama District Hospital, where doctors confirmed the death.

She said: “In response to a distress call received by the Command Control Room on 08/08/2024 at about 07:40 AM, that an unidentified lady was seen lying motionless along Katampe – Mabushi express way, a team of detectives were immediately dispatched to the scene.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was a man fully dressed in female clothings with no means of identification on him.”

The Police Public Relations Officer stated further that the police are working to unravel the mystery, with updates expected in due course.

“The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered a thorough and discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death,” Adeh added
