American boxing legend Mike Tyson recently told in a podcast that he thought his life was ending. It is not the first time the boxing legend has spoken about his demise.
Mike Tyson believes that his life is coming closer to an end. The 56-year-old boxing legend confessed his feeling in the public domain recently. In an interview on the “Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson” podcast, the former heavyweight boxing champion accepted that he feels his death is not far. The interview was conducted by Tyson’s therapist Dean McFarland.
Tyson expressed his thoughts by discussing the topic of financial security and how money affects one’s happiness. He said that whenever he looks in the mirror, he notices spots on his face and realizes that his time will end “really soon.”
While sharing his view on monetary things, Tyson said that money does not mean anything to him. According to him, people with less money think they can get happiness with a lot of money, but it is not true. He stated that when you have too much money, it becomes harder to make people love you because they start weighing your financial aspect, and too much money deters them from expressing their love for you.
He added that the sense of security attached to money is also ‘false’. The boxing titan said that the banks can collapse and no one is invincible even though they have too much money. Hence, people must not attach a sense of security to money.
It is not the first time, Tyson has openly talked about his death. A few months back, he made a similar statement at a psychedelic conference.
In his glorious career, Mike Tyson has set a sensational professional record of 50-6-2 with 44 knockouts. He is considered one of the greatest ever to play the game. Tyson made his boxing debut in 1985. He still holds the world record of becoming the youngest world heavyweight champion.
