Popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, has been arrested in Tanzania, reports reaching The Eagle Online have said.
According to available information, the Buga crooner was arrested in his hotel alongside some members of his crew.
In a video that surfaced online on Twitter, Daniel was marched by the police into a police van.
While the singer was being led away, an angry fan could be heard saying: “Kizz Daniel, you’ll go in for it. He’ll cause damage to this country. He must go in for it.”
He was arrested by the organisers of a show in Tanzania over his failure to perform.
He had been paid for the show, with some of those who were at the venue having coughed out fees said to be in the range of $5,000.
According to reports Daniel refused to perform at the concert over issues relating to his clothes.
He was said to have claimed that he left his clothes in Uganda.
Some fans were reported to have destroyed part of the venue of the concert in anger.
It could be recalled that this is the third time in 2022 that Daniel would be called out for failing to perform at paid shows.
