It’s a double celebration for the Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as he is honored by two media organizations recently for his giant strides in security, leadership, and entrepreneurship.The prestigious NAOSNP Shield of Security Honour presented to Dr. Ayo Ogunsan at the recently concluded NAOSNP National Security Conference and Awards 2024 held at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos organised by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) was in recognition of his instrumental roles in the promotion of security across agencies.
Other than that, Dr. Ogunsan is also noted to be at the forefront of the crusade against cultism and other social vices, hence his role in the Nigeria Police as the Chairman of POCACOV in Lagos State as well as his role as Patron of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos.
The award was presented at the 2024 annual security conference of the security news beat association which was held on Wednesday 9th October 2024.
The event was attended by the former Honourable Minister (State) for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim (now Hon. Minister of Women Affairs); the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Mustapha Fayoade; Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Ishola Olarenwaju Olawale; Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede ably represented by Deputy Director, Mr. Wole Ayo; Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, CM Shehu Mohammed ably represented by Assistant Corps Marshal, ACM Adeoye Irelewuyi; CEO of Proforce Limited, Mr. Adetokunbo Ogundeyin ably represented by Mr. Abiola Lawal; Managing Director/CEO of Badinson Security, Mr. Matthew Ibadin; among other dignitaries.
In the same vein, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan was accorded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Classic International Magazine during its 2024 Classic Africa Merit Award (CAMA). The award was received on behalf of the Chairman of Executive Group, by the General Manager, Executive Trainers Ltd, Mr. Kehinde Aina and it is in recognition of his contributions to business, education, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
Speaking about the awards, the Chairman/CEO of Executive Group, Dr Ayo Ogunsan thanked the awarding organizations for finding him worthy of the double honors. ‘National Association of Online Security News Publishers NAOSNP have demonstrated consistency, focus, and dedication to promoting news reportage in security while also empowering its members and other media practitioners with useful information and knowledge that would make them better in their role as 4th estate of the realm.
