Roberts revealed exciting plans for the future, announcing that the Arts & Essay Contest will now be an annual event. She assured that each year would bring broader outreach and even more opportunities for students nationwide. “We aim to expand this initiative, reaching more schools and inspiring a greater number of young minds to engage with the future of agriculture,” she said, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of agricultural innovators.

Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, the Chairman of Adron Group, delivered an impassioned speech, highlighting Nigeria’s rich agricultural heritage. He emphasized the need for the nation to reconnect with its agrarian roots, which once served as the backbone of its economy. Emmanuelking called for a renewed focus on agriculture as a pathway to sustainable development, economic stability, and food security, stressing that it is time to cultivate not just crops, but a brighter future for the nation.

“Our nation was built on agriculture. Cocoa House, one of Nigeria’s landmarks, was funded through proceeds from cocoa farming. By supporting initiatives like this, we aim to inspire the next generation to see agriculture not only as our past but as our future,” he said.

Moreso, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking reaffirmed Adron Group’s dedication to empowering the next generation through agriculture. He expressed pride in supporting these emerging farmers, viewing their success as a vital step toward revitalizing Nigeria’s agricultural landscape and economic growth.

“We are facing a global challenge in food security, and the youth must be at the forefront of finding solutions. This competition is a step in the right direction, as it encourages students to think critically about the future of food and agriculture,” he maintained.

More importantly, the event offered a vibrant stage for young students to express their artistic and literary talents, weaving creativity with a powerful message. Through art, poetry, and essays, they explored themes closely aligned with the mission of World Food Day: eradicating hunger and achieving global food security. Each piece reflected their passion and awareness, inspiring a collective vision of a world where everyone has access to sufficient, nutritious food. The showcase not only celebrated their skills but also underscored the vital role of youth in shaping a hunger-free future.
