The Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested flamboyant billionaire hotelier and club owner, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana.
Platform Africa reports that EFCC arrested Obi Cubana, a Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman, who chairs the Obi Cubana group of companies, on Monday at about noon.
He was taken to the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja to be interrogated by operatives of the commission.
The reason for the arrest is yet to be given as at press time.
He is still being held by the EFCC as at time this report is filed.
