CWFI Bishopric Convention Empowers Supernatural Women In Lagos, By Cleopatra Eki 🎊 The Scoper Media

Church of God Mission international Lagos Headquarters came alive with excitement as women from various provinces of church and women of walks of life, including the crème de la crème of society, gathered to celebrate 50th anniversary of Bishopric Convention 2024.


Speaking Rev Mrs Helen Fianu, President, Christian Women lnternational Lagos Bishopric Convention disclosed CWFI is the brain child of Archbishop Mrs Margaret Benson – ldahosa faith based established in I974 to help and empower women especially women Christian understand their calling and develop their God-given potentials.


The event with a theme of “The Supernatural woman” held at Mafolokun Lagos by CWFI inspiring Inclusion and Breaking the Norms,’ resonating with the participants.


She added that Christian Women Fellowship international has outreaches in 30 states in Nigeria and others countries UK , USA, France, Asia and African countries Ghana, Togo, Cameroon and Zaire.
Over 400 participants were present at 3 day event include women career leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers, fathers, students, teenagers children and families. The convention provided a vibrant space for collaboration, growth, and celebration.
Chief guest Minister Rev Mrs Nnenna Godson emphasizing the importance of women’s leadership and empowerment in church and today’s society.


A seasoned speaker Mrs Titilola Vivour- Adeniyi , Executive Secretary Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, she addresses the topic of Domestic and Sexual Violence , what the law says about offenders?.


These speakers, shared inspiring stories of resilience and success in their respective fields.


Dr Odunayo Ani, President Women lnternational Shipping and Trading Association spoke on Financial Skills for 21st Century Christian Women.
Enlightening the participants, Rev Mrs Maureen Okoro- Sokoh,Group Director Estymol group talked on “The Supernatural Woman and her lifestyle -Work -life balance”


The speakers and panelists all had inspiring and motivating stories and were ready to give supporting hards to help other women attain godly wealth and success.
The skillfully coordinated events were done by CWFI top executives and planning committees were Rev Mrs Dorothy MC Abraham – lnanah, CWFI President Ajao Estate Province,Rev Mrs Oghale Omoifoh, CWFI President Ota Province. Others were Rev Gloria Mamwa-Ndeti CWFI Secretary Bishopric and Rev Mrs Azeke Doris, Co- Chair, CWFI and Deaconess Stella Otoide .
The event also featured on line , live performances, street evangelism and rally,empowerment of. Grinding machines, items, clothes, foods and others.


The CWFl has continued to uphold the dignity of womanhood through financial enlightenment, empowerment enhance leadership skills in women through seminars, conferences, education and skills acquisition.


In conclusion the convention served as a platform to celebrate every as women of substance, empower others, and foster a sense of inclusion and support in the church and within their communities.
