The leadership of the Foursquare Gospel Church has announced that the 2024 edition of the organizations flagship training and manpower development conference, the International Conference for Ministers and Leaders (ICML 2024), will hold between Tuesday 9th and Saturday 13th April 2024.
In a statement released to the press, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Rev. Olaniyi Alawode said that the theme of the Conference is: Making Disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). He emphasized that the goal of the conference was to, among other things, gather ministers and leaders to re-examine, evaluate, and rededicate themselves to the core of their ministerial call”.
He said that this kind of retreat and theme became necessary because “we live at a time and in a generation when the attraction to and motivation for ministry for many is the desire to become crowd pullers, famous, or celebrities. We have crowd gatherings for religious rituals and activities in several places, but only a few are cooked and ready to love, live for, and die for the faith in Christ Jesus, which is the hallmark of true disciples. In this conference, we shall be challenged and charged, refreshed and refilled to return and rededicate our lives and efforts to raise armies of thoroughbred disciples who will be strong spiritually and relevant in their various societal positions to rebuild our communities, cities, towns, and nations”.
The General Overseer of the church, Rev. Dr. Sam Aboyeji, is expected to lead an array of other anointed ministers to unveil the truth and release Gods mind to participants during the conference. Other ministers include Bishop David O. Abioye of the Living Faith Church as guest expositor of the theme. So many inspired messages will come to us through the ministrations of other men of God, arms, and ministries. The table indeed is set, and the feast is ready to begin. It is the feast of fat things.
