Daughter of President Tinubu who is also the Iya Loja General of Nigeria, Chief (Dr) Mujidat Folashade Tinubu Ojo has been honored with traditional title by the Bida Emirate Council.
A statement signed by the Acting National Secretary, Nupe Films and Musicals Makers Association otherwise known as Nupewood, Umar Salihu Adamu, disclosed that Chief Dr. Mujidat Tinubu Ojo while on Thank You ou visit to Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Abubakar, received her letter of the honor and expressed delight over the recognition
Iya Loja dwelled extensively that there has been a strong nexus between the Nupes and the Yoruba, particularly in aspects of economic and social interaction and integration since time immemorial to date.
The traditional title Yar-Jari Nupe as bestowed on Chief Mujidat the daughter of the Nigerian President Tinibu means the finacianres and epitome of entrepreneur in Nupe.
The title was facilitated by Nupewood through Alhaji Mohammed Maryam Alhassan while the Sarki Wasa Nupe, Hon. Babadoko Sule Sarki presented the letter of honor to the Iya Loja in the company of the Nupewood National President, Ahmed Ibrahim Iyayi, and Mohammed Elatu, who also accompanied the Iya Loja on the Thank You visit to Etsu Nupe in Abuja.
The first daughter of the nation Iya Loja will be turban as the Yar-Jari Nupe in Bida Niger State on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 during the 20th Anniversary of the Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar.
