LAGOS monarch, Oba Saheed Elegushi, family members, and the entire Ikate Kingdom, are currently in grief, following the death of the crown prince recently.
For some who might think the death of the prince is one of those many rumours, the king confirmed it himself.
Since the news broke, the king has been quiet. But Oba Elegushi was sighted in a video with Davido, shared by Davido during his condolence visit to the king in London, United Kingdom.
While Davido was praying to God to give him the strength to bear the loss of his young prince, the monarch acknowledged his prayers and said ‘Amen.’
The singer assured the king that they are with him, adding that “may the young prince’s perfect soul rest in peace.”
The Lagos State Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, was also with the king, as he continues to heal.
The prince recently clocked a year and seven months old, he was born on August 21, 2020, in London, by the monarch’s second wife, Queen Hadiza. Elegushi married Hadiza in Yankaba, Kano State, on May 3, 2019, in a private ceremony.
