How Policemen Pursued Traffic Robber From Ketu To Ojota After Snatching Phone, Purse From Woman ๐ŸŽŠ The Scoper Media

A traffic robber who was said to have snatched a phone and purse containing money from a woman has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command after pursuing him from Ketu where he committed the act to Ojota, the command announced on its X handle on Saturday.

The traffic robber, whose name was given as Yusuph Mohammed, aged 20 years, was arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the state police command following alarm raised by the lady after she was dispossessed of her valuables by the young man.

It was gathered that following the alarm raised, the officers patrolling Ketu and Ojota axis of the state were said to have pursued him from Ketu to Ojota and eventually succeeded in arresting him while the said items he stole from the lady were recovered from him.

In another development, the RRS operatives raided some black spots in the metropolis and arrested 47 miscreants terrorizing the residents of the state.

They were arrested during the raiding that took place at Oluwole/Sunday Market, Ogba; Okeโ€“Koto, Agege and Okunola Street/31 Road, Egbeda, following thorough surveillance of the black spots and hideouts in the areas.

According to the statemen by the police command on its X handle, the traffic robbers as well as the 47 miscreants are expected to be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
